Shoes are important and it makes a difference what you use for each activity. Here are my top picks as a trainer and athlete.


Top pick for everyday and walking: Hokas

For Medium cushion go for the Arahi or the Clifton

For Ultra cushion go for Bondi


Top pick for lifting: Nike MetCon

These shoes are built for stability when getting after tough workouts like split squats, dead lifts and other lower-body exercises. The plate helps force weight down and out while adding rigidity in the heel. That firmness helps you feel grounded and supported, specifically under heavier loads.


Top pick for running: Brooks
